just part of the New ADMINISTRATION BUILDING                          Picture of the administration building from decades ago.

The old administration building is only a fraction of the size of the one in use today.

It is very small light colored building behind the brown St. Paul Lutheran church building. If you look very closely while driving you can see it on your left as you pass St. Paul's church building.

It was sufficient to handle the administration overhead for about 15,000 students in 1961.

Today, we have about 14,900 students, about the same.

The old building housed a superintendent and a couple of secretaries.

That was all that was needed.

It had one floor, it was one story building, about three rooms wide as you can see.

That is only one tree in front that nearly hides the building from view.

It could nearly fit into one of the third floor meeting rooms of the current ADMINISTRATION BUILDING.

At that time, there was not much government red tape.

The original Consitution did not provide for a U.S. Dept. of Education, there was no federal red tape on local schooling. Well, that is except for what conditions were laid down in the NorthWest Ordinance. It required the territories to provide godly schools as a condition of becoming a state , a member of the United States. Wonder why they don't teach that part of history anymore. It's just one example of things your child should be taught if he or she is to correctly understand the foundations of America.

===================== two more pictures of the new building are shown below ======================
The huge size is sufficient for huge red tape with increased administration. The story of this change is one every parent should want to hear. It affects the budget and it affects what your child learns. And you may decide it affects the way you vote.
