1. He would teach scripture as the foundation of truth
Noah Webster said to imitate this. He was America's SchoolMaster.
Early American school books did refer to scripture and Bible was taught.
2. On the subject of money, scripture teaches that debt is slavery.
Twentieth century economics star teacher Keynes says debt is good, and all students
are bombarded with the lure of credit and told to protect their credit as their status symbol.
A Jesus taught course in economics would be called a course on money, and would teach students how to live by accumulating their resources without debt.
It would teach on the greed of man's sin nature that leads to such deception in matters of money.
It would explain usury as practiced by big bankers. See Creature from Jekyll Island.
Physics and math
A Christian teaching on physics and math would emphasize order instead of chaos.
Nowdays, even elementary story books refer to what used to be named the Law of Entrophy
as the Law of Chaos. Why? Because current forces in control want to teach that life came from chaos.
Much more to be said here. See the Creation Science menu on the index of this site for references to science teaching that agrees with scripture.
Language and reading and spelling:
The Hebrew language (of God's people) has root words and combinations of root words to make other words.
So obviously God recognizes and intends for us to recognize the building together of things to make other things.
Clearly language should be taught from it's parts instead of the Whole Language method of teaching.
Children today are hardly exposed to a dictionary.
Children are hardly exposed to root ideas at all. They are mostly taught unconnected fragmentary knowledge and left with the impression there is no end and no beginning.
The root and fruit concept is unknown even to distinguished high school students, according to my own experience last year in two local high schools.
Children would be given fruitful books instead of poisionous books.
LAW
A Bible based teaching on law would show the truth of absolute law.
It would explain why one of our country's great men said "Any law of any nation is of no validity, if it is contrary to the laws of God."
It would communicate clearly why the Supreme Court is guilty of usurping authority in the last half of the twentieth century.
Currently, students are taught an evolutionary law instead of any absolute law.
HISTORY
It would show the godly motivation of great men who believed in God and the contrary ideas of those who opposed them.
It would include the Christian writings of our Founding Fathers.
Biology and Geology
See the Creation Science menu on this site from the site main index.
Geology, the truth of the Flood would be taught. (See 2Peter 3:5)
There wouldn't be a course from DARE. We wouldn't need it. DARE doesn't work anyway. Neither does any of the social engineering courses recently put into our schools.
Freedom would be taught as freedom in Christ instead of as the right to do anything you want. Expression would be taught as expressing Christ and faith towards God instead of unbounded self-expression. Many more differences exist. These should prime the pump for your own thoughts. Any questions, please write.
The library shelves would be filled with different books. Write for a book list of suggested reading. You'll find them hard to find in your local public library or school library.
Matthew 6:33 would be at the core of every class, and it's application to the course would be explained.
The goal would be eternity with God through Christ Jesus
and the guide would be scripture.
The foundational, seed-thought truths of math and geometry would be shown as the basis for good reasoning.
One example omitted today is how the plane geometry concept of an angle and the extension of its lines can lend understanding to any idea.
Mainly this, to understand a thing altogether, one must know both it's origin and it's destination.
Example: Just looking at a frozen cannon ball, one cannot tell how to avoid it. He must see from whence it came to know where it's going.
But students today do not have this understanding generalized to them. They are allowed to be content just memorizing isolated facts to get the school a good grade on the TASS tests.
The truths of nature and nature's Creator would be taught as guides for living. Those things are omitted today. And for this the children are being lost. We are not living up to the Bible, not even up to the preamble of our Constitution.
