How governments have used schools to change the attitude of children so it changes away from that of their parents. This page will tell you why the colonial Americans absolutely knew better than to let the government school their children. They knew better. That's why there was no Dept of Education in the Constitution. That was an invention of the 1960's and 70's. Such centralization of power and control made it easy to lobby in one place to change all 50 states instead of having to deal with 50 different states by those who wanted to change America through the children and their schools.

  8. Humanists with their change from schools that taught God is the foundation of knowledge to schools that omit God and deny His clear teachings.
  9. U.N. with its world wide education agenda which was the model for Goals 2000. You can see all the propaganda for the U.N. in the state-tax supported new standard compliant history books and language arts books. Claiming that what religion did not solve, the new world order will solve, for the peace of the new world order. Look at all the U.N. propaganda filling the shelves of public school libraries. But scarcely little can you find of the original words of those great men who founded this nation. The children are no longer told what their roots were, but they are told where they're going, ie to the new world economy, the new world order. That's why President Clinton has issued another Presidential command to the effect that now the U.S. flag must fly beneath the U.N. flag wherever they are together. Wake up and smell the stench of America losing her sovereignty to the U.N. It's happening. And the children are being prepared for it through your tax dollars!
Schools will either be used by parents to bring up children with the values of the parents, or they will be used by the state to bring up children with values that honor the state and its way. Now, the way of the state is to deny and omit and contradict the Lord Almighty God and His Son Jesus Christ. What will you do for your child and your grandchild? Who will teach them?

     As recently as President Harry S. Truman, these words were spoken to Americans by a God-fearing President.
          The fundamental basis of this nation's law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teaching we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul.
         I don't think we emphasize that enough these days.     If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally end up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in the right for anybody except the state.

The state has now taken away many rights that existed sixty years ago when Truman spoke those words.

President Truman had seen the aetheists and communists beginning to reach the Supreme Court and strip away existing practices in America, the teaching of "proper fundamental moral background." That is the historical background of this quote. Parents, if you go to a church on Sunday, you need to know those people who do not want children to believe in God are being a whole lot more active about it than you are. Stand up and do what's right for your child. The "law" enforces child attendance at a state approved school for most of the week. The "law" denies teaching of Christian truth during all that time. You and your children are being fed into an atheistic machine. Can you sit still? Can you ignore this? Will you let the people who call Christianity a disease be the ones who decide how and what your child is taught? There is a battle for control in the classroom. It is past time to fight the good fight of faith. 1 Timothy 6:12 Your dollars are paying for the wrong kind of a school. Either fix the school, or send your dollars to a school where your student can hear the words of faith from America's Founding Fathers. The difference is not only a better life now, but also eternal.
