Hold School Bond for Motivation

This is school bond information

Parents need to know before voting on bond:

1. Why administrative costs have skyrocketed since 1961

2. Why quality of knowledge and understanding has fallen since 1961

I recommend not giving them any more bond money until they fully disclose the controversial issues in education. Currently they have stone-walled since 1992 on any disclosure and even published "excellence in education" to ward off any questions on the foundational issues of our schools.

When parents learn these two things, then they can raise the foundational issues of teaching and vote for their bond.

Since 1992 the school system has refused to publish information to the parents that would reveal any conflict among nationally recognized leaders in education, not wanting to rock the boat. Instead they (WFISD administration) has only gone with the flow from the federal and state money system and passing bonds.

Examples of these conflicts can be seen in:
Brave New Schools,
The Dumbing Down of Our Children, by a New York "Teacher of the Year"

Nothing is more important than having parents informed on bonds and other choices available for the teaching of their children.

Until you know your available choices, you cannot be assured of making the best choice on the bond issue in WFISD.

Vote no on the school bond and continue voting no until the system begins to open up for traditional choices and full disclosure of "issues in education".

I don't believe the system is going to give parents a fair shake on information they need until parents hold up the bond money.

Parents, the only strong voice you have is to vote no on this bond until WFISD gets all the facts out into the light for parent discussion and evaluation.
